Our time here in Australia and exploring this beautiful country is about to come to an end. We will be moving back to our house in NJ on July 1. Brent will be taking on a new role at BMS’ home office as Head of Tumor Commercial Teams for Worldwide Oncology.
It’s bittersweet. We are excited to arrive home in summer, be closer our family and friends and have the kids start the school year on time in the US. But, we will really miss the area, school and friends that we’ve made here. That’s part of the expat deal though.
I’m now full force working on the logistics for moving home. But before leaving, we will get to have mom and dad visit from June 1-15, and during that time, we will visit the Great Barrier Reef. I said I wouldn’t leave Australia until I saw it!
Before they arrive, I need to sort through my pictures from our fun visit with Grandma and Pop Pop. The above picture is the coastline from the small town of Gnarabup, Western Australia which is where we stayed when visiting the Margaret River wine region with Brent’s parents. I’ll post about it soon since we’ll have a lot more pics to share from Mummal and Pappy’s visit.
Stay tuned and hope to see you all this summer in the Northern Hemisphere!
